Our Team

Ken Fisher

Co-owner, Brewmaster

The ultimate creator of delicious brew, Ken was born in 1953 in Colfax, Washington. He’s fast approaching his 25th year as a clerk at the United States Post Office and once served as the head football of Washington School for the Deaf in Vancouver, WA. Ken is a die hard Denver Broncos fan and has a man-crush on Peyton Manning.   It’s obvious.

He’s been brewing for over thirty years, brewing damn good stuff for more than half that time, and currently resides in Vancouver, WA with his wife Sherie and a posse of felines..

Brian Bearden

Co-owner, Operations and Business Development

Brian has a passion for advocacy work within the Deaf community, currently serving as Executive Director at the non-profit DeafVibe Foundation. He also is a majority partner in Hi5 Access,a sign language interpreting and communication services firm that currently
employs over 250 interpreters nationwide.

He spends his free time nursing a longstanding addiction to flipping houses in the Portland area and watching his 13 year old running back carry the football into the end zone on weekends. Both he and his labradoodle Hugo enjoy Grateful Deaf Brewing’s famous RYE IPA.
